JEN & GRAHAM | LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA WEDDING
I honestly didn’t expect too much from the little town of La Quinta, California when I traveled there for Jen and Graham’s emotional wedding. However the Palm Desert won me over with perfect weather, amazing light and everything else you’d expect to find near Palm Springs. Both from Vancouver, Jen and Graham are sweet, totally in love and cried a lot on their wedding day. Graham mentioned in his speech that I was known for photographing wild receptions, challenging his beautiful, wild friends to go hard. Then at the after party they went even harder.
BEN & KERRI | NEW JERSEY WEDDING
I could talk a lot about how beautiful and fun this couple is, but what struck me the most about them was how much they cared for Kerri’s little sister, who is developmentally delayed. Watching them continually find her on the dance floor touched me deeply. My friend and photographer David Morgan from the U.K. joined Peichi Waite and I to photograph the event. Since Ben, his mates and his family are all from Britain themselves, David fit in very nicely. After a wild rehearsal dinner party in Manhattan, all of the other wedding events took place in New Jersey. The reception was at the well-known Pleasantdale Chateau.
