Pedro + Cristina | San Miguel De Allende Wedding
On a rainy evening in San Miguel De Allende last fall, I had dinner with Cristina’s parents, unknowing that in 2014 I would be photographing their daughter’s wedding. Cristina and Pedro are proof that opposites attract. She is as shy as he is outgoing. They planned their wedding at the new wedding venue, Hacienda San Jose La Vista. Their Catholic mass was near the Jardin at the Temple of San Francisco. The always impressive army at Penzi Weddings and Events made everything colorful, photogenic and over the top.
Chusheng + Eileen | San Francisco Engagement
These kind and thoughtful foodies flew to San Francisco from Singapore to be tourists and shoot their engagement portraits. Chusheng and Eileen and I talked a lot about food as we visited popular San Francisco sites shooting pictures on a rare, perfect weather day in the bay area. I never grow tired of shooting here and only wish I didn’t have to fly in and fly out of one of my favorite cities on the same day.
Mimi + Jonathan| Malibu Wedding
Surrounded by animals, mountains and vineyards, the adorable Mimi and Jon married at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, California on a beautiful yet unseasonably chilly day. These guys love photos and were so wonderfully easy to work with. I can also say the same about their wedding planner, Catherine Cindy Leo of CCL Events.
Nazanin + Arash | Los Angeles Engagement
The brilliant and sexy couple Nazanin and Arash were photographed in downtown L.A. celebrating their engagement. If you’ve seen Spike Jonze’s film “Her,” you may recognize the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles, where one of the film’s scenes was shot. It’s a popular landmark for obvious reasons and we all fell in love with it at sunset. We also hit the old L.A. zoo in Griffith Park.
