Albums

Albums are a wonderful way to preserve and display your favorite wedding pictures in an impressive presentation. But understanding the different options can be confusing, so I’ve created this section so that you can get a better understanding of what the ordering process is and the products that I offer.

Albums may be added to your wedding package at the time of booking or ordered any time after your wedding has past.

There are essentially three styles of albums that most wedding photographers offer: the flushmount coffee table album, a traditional matted album and classic books with thin pages.

Flushmount albums are the most popular and typically have leather covers. They are called flushmount because the photographs on the pages may be flush with the edge of the page. Page design for flushmount albums is very flexible and typically done in Adobe Photoshop or a similar program. Most binderies who make these albums use reinforced professional, archival photographic prints with protective coatings for the pages. This means you get very high-quality color, quality and longevity. View Flushmount Images >

Each spread, made up of two pages, can hold one huge photograph or a collage of 20 or more.

Traditional matted albums typically hold less photos because of the matted or border areas required around each image. Pages for these albums are essentially unframed, professional, archival matted prints. The maximum amount of photos per page is typically two.

Classic books with thin pages are essentially photography books similar to what you can find in an art gallery, library or book store.

The advantage to thin pages is that more pages means more photos. The compromise is image quality and longevity since your photos are printed on press paper, not photo paper.

Just like hanging your favorite wedding pictures on the wall, publishing a book of your wedding day is one of the best ways to preserve the memories forever.
