KINSEY + KJI | SANTA FE WEDDING
If you’ve seen the academy award-winning movie Crazy Heart, then you may recognize Bishop’s Lodge where Kinsey and Kji recently married. Both currently of Boulder, these two and I have a lot in common and Kinsey’s whole family loves photography. While everyone was getting ready for the ceremony, a huge wildfire blew up in the mountains very close to this wooded resort. Fortunately the wind was in our favor and we were not evacuated.

I thought your opening portrait from the last wedding was my favorite by anyone this year. But I think the opener here tops it. So damn awesome.

i love how natural it feels, like you just walk up and make a perfect frame. I feel a sense of ease yet perfection in your photos. it really is magical.
