L’Auberge Del Mar
The upscale resort L’Auberge in the heart of Del Mar is a favorite wedding venue among San Diego wedding photographers, known for sunsets, ocean views and sophisticated hospitality. This venue is convenient for beach weddings or events on one of their on-site terraces. It also happens to be home of Kitchen 1540, one of the top restaurants in Del Mar.

The Grand Del Mar
This brand new, enormous, mediterranean-style resort in Del Mar was the first hotel and spa in the U.S. to receive Forbes’ highest triple five star rating. This upscale San Diego wedding venue, which cost 270 million dollars to build, has been the site of celebrity events and weddings.

Grande Colonial Hotel
This historic hotel in the heart of downtown La Jolla can be an ideal location for couples planning a small wedding who may also be interested in doing their wedding portraits on the beach. Many of the hotel rooms also have amazing views of the ocean.

The Lodge at Torrey Pines
You dont’ have to be a golfer to understand the beauty of this world-famous location perched on the Torrey Pines cliffs above Black’s Beach and the ocean. Everything at this high-end La Jolla venue is big, and they can handle weddings of any size.

Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa
This large resort in La Jolla has a quaint and charming feel and reminds me a lot of high-end resorts I’ve photographed in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The wedding ceremony sites and reception options here all very different from one another and each offer their own unique qualities.
